
RESULTS
We did a lot of posts through the two social media platforms; Facebook and Instagram. Here we created our own pages for Mexishare and shared information about the project, the conditions in Mexico and the fundraising event.
We ended up with 324 followers on Facebook and 113 followers on Instagram.
FUNDRAISING EVENT
Our fundraising event to place at Rive Gauche Club here in Paris. I was to a big extend a "regular night at the club", however the difference was, that people had the opportunity to buy or ticket at a cheaper price than the usual entrance price, get cheaper drinks, donate in our "tip jar" and all the money went directly to the project and Mexico. The "ticket" was a bracelet, which you could save as a souvenir and we sold 42 bracelets in total.

COSTS

The team made a group decision on dividing the costs regarding the project and for the ticket sales for the fundraising among us and not cover them with the income from the donations and ticket sales. It added up to 240 € in total.
INCOME

Regarding income we had to sources: the prices of the tickets and the donations. However, we also had to pay a fee for using GoFundMe and transfer he money. It added up to 464 € in total.
WHAT WILL THE FUNDS BE SPEND ON?
For this project we formed a Partnership with a nonprofit organization called "Plan" in Mexico. This organization has informed us, that all of the funds will be used for paying all the engineering part of a School Building Project.
They will keep us updated on the project with relevant information and photos. It is really great knowing that we made such a difference!
